A Typical Day of an Online Student

As an online student, there are daily activities you must undertake to ensure that you are in good standing in the Institute. Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure you understand all instructions and directions pertaining to your course. As an online student, you will interact with course mates, instructors, and staff using tools like zoom, emails, video conferencing, and social media. Therefore, on a daily basis you must do the following:

• Log into the Learning Management System.
• Access your class portal for any to do lists.
• Check for new information or announcements from course instructors.
• Access your email messages.
• Clarify any information you do not understand from the Course Instructor.
• Make time to work on assignments.
• Check your schedule for the week.
• Ensure that all assignments are correctly submitted.
• Read new course materials that have been uploaded by your Course Instructor.
• Check for deadlines on course readings and assignments.
• Check the course schedule for any additions, changes, or modifications.
